We Increase More Traffic & More Sales

There are many ways you can increase traffic on your website, and in today’s post, we’re going to look at 25 of them, including several ways to boost site traffic for FREE.

  1. Advertise
This one is so obvious, we’re going to look at it first. Paid search, social media advertising, and display advertising (try our Smart Ads Creator!) are all excellent ways of attracting visitors, building your brand, and getting your site in front of people. Adjust your paid strategies to suit your goals – do you just want more traffic, or are you looking to increase conversions, too? Each paid channel has its pros and cons, so think carefully about your objectives before you reach for your credit card. If you’re hoping that more traffic to your site will also result in more sales, you’ll need to target high commercial intent keywords as part of your paid search strategies. Yes, competition for these search terms can be fierce (and expensive), but the payoffs can be worth it.
  2. Get Social
It’s not enough to produce great content and hope that people find it – you have to be proactive. One of the best ways to increase traffic to your website is to use social media channels to promote your content. Twitter is ideal for short, snappy (and tempting) links, whereas Google+ promotion can help your site show up in personalized search results and seems especially effective in B2B niches. If you’re a B2C product company, you might find great traction with image-heavy social sites like Pinterest and Instagram. Here’s more advice on making the most of social media marketing. Read More

Start With a Rough Sketch

Good web design rarely starts with code. Diving right into the meat of a project is actually detrimental to the end result! What you want to do is start wireframing instead.

Get a piece of paper and a pen (pencil is even better, as it can be erased) and sketch out a rough layout for your website design. Figure out where you want elements to go before you even start to design anything in a digital space. You might argue that it is counterintuitive, but you’d be mistaken: design thinking is essential to the success of your page. Using it in your planning can improve the results of every creative project you crank out.

Keep Load Speed in Mind

You’re visiting a website and—ugh!—it takes forever to get anything to load. Good website design includes serving data to your visitors swiftly. Nobody is going to stick around if every image takes three minutes to load. Read More

Never Stop Believing Yourself

There was a time in my life when I stopped believing in myself. It was a time of desperation and silent resignation. I had given up. I had thrown in that proverbial towel in my mind and had relented to the fact that there were no good things yet to come. All hope was lost. I was decimated right down to the core. To say that it was a turbulent time in my life would be an understatement.

But eventually things changed. It didn’t happen overnight; it took years. But what I came to realize over time was that I never actually stopped believing in myself. Buried somewhere, deep down inside, was a passion that I simply didn’t know how to tap into consciously. It was hidden away behind a door with a locked key that only my subconscious had access to.

Although I had failed miserably, and many times over, I eventually recovered. Today, I wouldn’t have it any other way. wouldn’t want to go back and erase those failures, as hard as they were on me. I would do absolutely nothing differently. Through failure, life’s greatest lessons are learned. It’s through failure that we build a platform for great success. Read More
